Melchioni S.p.A.

Melchioni becomes a joint-stock company to reflect its strength and competitiveness.

The cooperation with TIMEX starts

Melchioni starts the distribution of TIMEX watches.

Melchioni IRRADIO

Melchioni commercialises the new IRRADIO audio-video sets.

The first COMMODOREs

The first Commodores appear on the market and the cooperation with Sharp begins..

Melchioni INDUSTRIA

The Melchioni INDUSTRIA division is born. The new division forms alliances with the main, world-leading, global manufacturers of electronic components.

The cooperation with TOSHIBA begins

Melchioni signs the agreements for the distribution of TOSHIBA audio-video equipment in Italy.

1973

The cooperation with HITACHI begins

Melchioni signs the agreement with HITACHI for the distribution of their new oscilloscope.

1976

The cooperation with ATARI begins

Melchioni distributes ATARI personal computers and gaming consoles.

The cooperation with SHARP continues

Melchioni reaches an agreement to sell SHARP calculators

1989

Melchioni CAR SYSTEM

The Melchioni CAR SYSTEMS division is created, becoming a leading supplier of spare parts for cars, motorcycles, commercial and industrial vehicles.

SHARP ELECTRONICS ITALIA SpA

Melchioni e Sharp together create SHARP ELECTRONIC ITALIA SPA for office automation, electrical appliances and photovoltaic systems.

1991

The cooperation with DENON begins

Melchioni begins distributing Hi-Fi equipment by DENON, the leading Hi-Fi equipment manufacturer.

1997

First FUJITSU plasma TV in Italy

Melchioni launches the first FUJITSU plasma television on the Italian market.

2004

TDK distributor

Melchioni signs an agreement to become the distributor of TDK products on the Italian domestic market.

50 YEARS of MELCHIONI S.P.A.

Melchioni S.p.a. celebrates its first 50th birthday.

Melchioni enters into the renewable energy industry specializing in the PHOTOVOLTAIC sector.

The MELCHIONI FAMILY brand is born, dedicated to the distribution of small appliances and home and personal care products.

Melchioni paves the way to a cleaner and safer future, brightly lit by LEDs.

COMPREL acquisition

Melchioni acquires COMPREL from the Esprinet Group, becoming the largest Italian distributor in the electronic components market.

Melchioni S.p.a: 60 years in business

Melchioni S.p.a. celebrates its "first" 60th BIRTHDAY.

2015

ACSEL ELECTRONICS acquisition

Melchioni acquires ACSEL ELECTRONICS and becomes a leader in the Italian lighting market.

2016

Melchioni ASIA and Melchioni CHINA

The Group creates Melchioni ASIA and Melchioni CHINA. With their new operating offices in Hong Kong and Shanghai, these new companies lay the foundations for a new commercial development in the Far East, beginning with the distribution of electronic components.
